Group Sessions
Every session includes general & running specific warm up exercises to help improve your conditioning & mobility as well as developing your running technique. The course is also structured to build up your endurance steadily over the 6 to 7 weeks so that you can go from little or indeed no previous running to being able to run your first 5km.
Our course is open to both men and women and will take you from no running or limited running to being able to run 5km (occasionally other similar distances) over a period of 6-7 weeks. If you are someone who runs already and able to run 5k but would just like to join others for training then you might want to consider one of our other weekly group sessions. If however you are someone starting out from scratch or you are finding running for any length of time a challenge and would like to be part of a group that is purely made up of people in the same position as you, then our Get into Running course is likely to be the best option.
